Delightfully sweet and salty

Western BBQ Bacon Jerky is one of my favorites, it definitely doesn’t taste like BBQ drenched in sauce , it has a sweet and salty taste, with a soft texture. U get that strong BBQ taste slapped with sweetness.

SAVORY SWINE CANDY

First, the bacon is of excellent quality. I thought the end result was of perfect thickness and texture. Absolutely NO rancid meat! Not even the slightest hint! The strips were seemingly on the leaner (less fat) side while being very meaty and wide. Next, the flavor (Western BBQ BACON Jerky) was wonderful. I prefer a salty, pure pork, "fresh", wood smoked bacon. I started to give 4 stars because I don't like sweet bacon (all the/every time) but I knew what I ordered and sugar is right in the list of ingredients so the product IS as described. It's difficult to describe flavor but my attempt includes a salty (not harsh or tongue burning) and sweet mixture mixed with a very perfect blend of savory spices that reminds me of a very typical southern dry-rub for barbecue ribs or brisket. This was the only bacon jerky flavor I ordered so I can't compare to their other offerings. By the quality of bacon itself it is a great product. The additional flavors add some variety and a small eating adventure. I'd definitely try the other flavors and would likely purchase this again if my other favorites aren't available.
